FAQs
Do you accept insurance?
Yes, I take Aetna, BCBS and CCA EAP. If private pay, I can provide you with a superbill (a receipt of services) that you can file with your insurance.
How do we get started?
First, go to my contact page on this website and fill out the form to request a free 15-minute phone consultation. Then, during our phone consult I will find out what needs you have for therapy. We will decide if we are a good match. Last, you will access the client portal and get set up on Simple Practice which is my private practice telehealth service.
How many sessions will i need?
It is different for everyone. Many factors need to be considered. We will work together to decide how often and how long we should continue therapy.
How do we meet virtually?
I use Simple Practice. It is a HIPPA compliant telemedicine platform. Through Simple Practice you can schedule appointments, complete paperwork, view my business policies and make payments. Simple Practice will send reminders for our appointments and include the link to join on telehealth.
What is Hippa? Can you share my information?
No, not without your written permission. I am mandated to follow rules and laws that protect my clients. HIPPA is a federal law that protects sensitive patient/client health information from being disclosed without the patient/ client’s consent or knowledge. Therapy is confidential but there are situations in which information must be shared for safety. We will discuss this topic more at the start of services.
